Japanese things can be packed & sent to us
Due to the corona virus, we still are not sure when we can visit Japan again. We missed some Japanese foods which are not available in our country.
During such a situation, we got information about the Rakuten Global Express service.
This service is perfect for us, we’ve already been using it to let things be sent from Japan, because not all internet shops in Japan allow global deliveries.

After the ID Verification, everything is easy
OK, the ID verification process took much more time than we expected, but after the registration it ran very smooth.
We bought some our favourite foods, toys on Amazon Japan and let them be sent to our personal RGX address in Kawasaki.
After all items arrived, we sent a packing request and after that a shipping request to Rakuten. We paid the fee via credit card. After payment, our package was sent to the outward office of exchange in Tokyo.
It took 9 days until the package was delivered to us. The express service is expensive, but worth it because of the online tracking service.

Good service and an unbeatable price with the 30% discount coupon!
We had to additionally pay the custom duty, but we were happy that all items came to us without any problems.
Our package’s weighed 3,790 g and the size was 59 x 36 x 24 cm, we selected the express service, so actually it should have cost 10,660 Yen, but with the 30% discount coupon, we only paid 7,462 Yen. But according to the dispatch note of Japan Post, the postal charge was 8200 Yen, so namely, we could send our package at a lower price than the actual one.
