Even without sowing, it is easy to make a hand towel mask

Nowadays it is very important that your spit should not fly to other people, but we are running out of kitchen paper. So now it is time to make other masks which we can use repeatedly.

We found some Japanese information about a hand towel mask.

We used this lovely Japanese hand towel “Tenugui“, we got it at the 100 Yen shop in Japan.

Making a kitchen towel mask is very easy!

1.The towel is folded until it is slim and two rubber bands are put in.

2. From the position of the rubber band the towel should be folded inside.

3. The other side should be folded too.

Finished!

Looking for suitable rubber bands was not that easy for us. We found some suitable rubber bands in our closet. Shoulder straps from swim wear were most suitable things. They can be adjusted in length and are solid.

We would recommend that the kitchen towel should not be too tick, cotton is good. Maybe, you can find one at home.

Washable and repeatedly usable

The strong advantage of a kitchen towel mask is that it is possible to repeatedly use it.

After washing, you can iron it. Then your towel mask can be disinfected through and through.

Don’t forget to wash rubber bands too, but they cannot be ironed.

A lovely hand towel mask for children

Only one disadvantage of this kitchen towel mask is that it is too big for children. So we made a different mask with a lovely towel that we got at a Hotel in Japan.
