You can experience a simulation of an old steam locomotive.
Enjoy your virtual train journey in Omiya
You can see old sleeping cars. Moreover, you can buy some famous Ekibens (Lunch boxes sold at train stations ) that are sold at various stations across Japan.
Our choice was the Tan ton bento from Sendai station.
We ate this special lunch box in one of the countless old trains. There were some trains in the field of this museum. You can enjoy your lunch in them without actually riding one.
